Installing the Rinco Corner Planter & Shelf

We provide 2 options to install the Corner Planter. The mounting brackets are included in the product package.

  1. No-Wall-Drilling using a bracket with adhesive tape (I’ll call this Sticky Bracket onwards in this article)
  2. Mounting on the wall with screws

Before installing the Corner Planter

  • Check if the corner is 90 degreed. You cannot install the product on the corner with smaller than 90 degree.
  • Please check the material of your wall.
    • The adhesive tape can be attached to the walls with a flat surface. 울퉁불퉁한 surfaces like brick wall isn’t the best place for the Corner Planter.
    • It will be difficult to screw the Corner Plater to a tile or brick with the enclosed screws. You’ll need a better tool for that.

No-Wall-Drilling using Sticky Brackets

  1. 4 brackets are inside the package. Pick the best two. (The other two brackets aren’t necessarily needed unless the brackets are broken during the installation.)
  2. Mount the Sticky Brackets to the bottom of the Corner Planter using the screws (included in the package). Be mindful of the side; the flat side of the bracket should be facing the Corner Planter. Note: slowly screw the Sticky Bracket if you are using an electric drill. The plastic bracket part can be detached from the adhesive tape part if you screw too hard.
  3. Before attaching to the wall, bring the Corner Planter to the point where you want to install it. I recommend you to use a pencil to mark (the location of the Corner Planter) on the wall. Check the angle and see if the product is 수평인지.
  4. Pill off the protection tape from the back of the Sticky Bracket.
  5. Slowly place the Corner Planter to the corner. Do not haste. Both side of the Corner Planter should be placed to the planned location at the same time. (If you attach it on one side too early, the adhesive tape might stick to a wrong place, and you’ll need to slowly remove it to install it again.) Don’t push the product too hard to the wall already.
  6. Once the Corner Planter is semi-attached to the wall, check the angle and location again if everything looks okay. Use your finger to push the adhesive tape to stick stronger to the wall. Screw the Sticky Bracket more if the bracket is not connected strongly with the Corner Planter.
  7. Put the Tube inside the hole of the Corner Planter. Please find the other article How to Find the Right Plant for the Corner Planter to learn which type of plant is suitable for the Corner Planter.

Additional Tip:

  • A different way to mount the Corner Planter on the corner, which is to attach the Sticky Bracket to the wall one by one (not simultaneously). This requires a bit more effort but will result in less mistakes.
    1. After checking the location of the Corner Planter (point #3 above), unscrew one Sticky Bracket (let’s say this Sticky Bracket 1). Attach this Sticky Bracket 1 — after pilling off the protection tape — on one side of the wall corner first. Don’t attach it too hard for now.
    2. Pill off the protection tape from the back of another Sticky Bracket (let’s say this Sticky Bracket 2) which is mounted to the Corner Planter.
    3. Place the Corner Planter to where you want to install the product. Don’t attach the Sticky Bracket 2 to the wall until you find the accurate position. Push the Corner Planter to the wall to stick it to the wall.
    4. If everything goes right, connect the Corner Planter with the Sticky Bracket 1 with a screw.

Mounting on the wall with screws

If you don’t mind mounting the Corner Planter with the wall with screws, you can just use the enclosed small metal bracket.

  1. 2 brackets are inside the package.
  2. Mount the Brackets to the bottom of the Corner Planter using the screws (included in the package). Use a flat object to make the one side of the Bracket aligned with the edge of the Corner Planter. Note: slowly screw the Bracket if you are using an electric drill.
  3. Before attaching to the wall, bring the Corner Planter to the point where you want to install it. I recommend you to use a pencil to mark (the location of the Corner Planter) on the wall. Check the angle and see if the product is 수평인지.
  4. Mount one side of the Corner Planter to the wall with a screw. Don’t mount too hard yet.
  5. Mount the other side of the Corner Planter to the other side of the corner with a screw.
  6. Check the height, angle, and levelness.
  7. Mount the product stronger if everything is good.
  8. Put the Tube inside the hole of the Corner Planter. Please find the other article How to Find the Right Plant for the Corner Planter to learn which type of plant is suitable for the Corner Planter.
